Industry Workshop on security operations and automation

Workshop on AI and automation in security operations, from threat detection to incident response and governance.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping the landscape of modern security operations.

Within today’s Security Operations Centres (SOCs), AI-driven technologies are increasingly embedded across workflows such as security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. These developments are influencing how organisations manage security at scale, offering new opportunities to improve efficiency and decision-making while also introducing challenges related to system integration, governance, and trust.

The Security Operations and Automation Workshop brings together industry practitioners and researchers to explore these evolving dynamics. The workshop provides a forum for sharing perspectives, examining current practices, and discussing how AI and automation are shaping the future of security operations.

The workshop explores a range of broad themes relevant to contemporary security environments. These include the evolving role of AI and automation across security operations, and how organisations are incorporating these technologies into existing systems and workflows. Discussions consider both the opportunities presented by AI and the challenges associated with implementation and ongoing management.
