TEDxQUT Salon: Navigating AI in the Humanities
A TEDxQUT salon exploring AI’s possibilities, limits and ethical questions across creativity, scholarship and humanities practice.
Presented by QUT’s Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice, this salon explores how and when AI can be used in the humanities.
Keynote speaker Dan McKewen discusses incorporating AI into creative practice while maintaining a critical perspective. Four QUT presenters add perspectives from design, digital media, music and justice, followed by a Q&A led by Professor Cassandra Cross and a networking lunch.
The event focuses on AI’s possibilities, limitations, opportunities and challenges when it intersects with creativity, scholarship and practice.
