The Buy Australian AI Partnership Program helps Australian AI companies strengthen their readiness for enterprise opportunities and connect with potential buyers.
Delivered by Stone & Chalk and sponsored by the National AI Centre, the program connects Australian AI companies with enterprise organisations through a structured program focused on procurement readiness, responsible AI and commercial opportunities.
Who's it for
The program is designed for Australian AI companies looking to work with large organisations in the financial services sector.
Your organisation may be a good fit for the program if you:

- address a challenge relevant to the financial services sector
- are interested in working with enterprise customers
- are available to participate throughout the program
- have support from the leadership team to engage in the opportunity.
Program format
The program runs over 8 weeks and combines:
- workshops and capability-building activities
- engagement with enterprise organisations
- access to industry experts
- exposure to enterprise procurement and evaluation processes
- opportunities to test assumptions and refine your approach to enterprise customers.
Participants will have opportunities to build their understanding of enterprise requirements, strengthen their commercial capability and develop relationships that can support future growth to:
- better understand how enterprise organisations evaluate AI solutions
- strengthen capability across security, governance, risk and compliance
- learn how procurement and supplier assessment processes work
- build evidence that supports future enterprise engagement
- connect with enterprise buyers, industry experts and potential partners
- improve readiness for pilot projects and commercial discussions
- better understand the practical requirements of working with large organisations.
Key dates
The program will run from October to November 2026. The key dates are:
- 27 August 2026: Expressions of interest open
- 24 September 2026: Expressions of interest close
- 30 September 2026: Applicants notified of the outcome of their application
- 5 October 2026: Program commences
- 27 November 2026: Program concludes
